Teacher Kristin Pitzen of Orange County\u2019s Newport Mesa School District said why she took down the American flag from her classroom in a TikTok video that she later removed: \u201cbecause it made me uncomfortable.\u201d\n\n\n\n
I packed it away and I don\u2019t know where, and I haven\u2019t found it yet,\u201d she muttered into the camera, her laughter washing over her words.\n\n\n\n
