She candidly talked about the ordeal during an appearance on the \u201cToday\u201d show.\n\n\n\n The public figure, who was recovering from hip surgery then, recalled that while hurrying to unlock the backdoor for a friend in the sweltering 100-degree heat, she \u201cwent tumbling\u201d on her stairs.\n\n\n\n \u201cIt didn\u2019t take much, because I was weak in that spot,\u201d Kathie Lee revealed in another interview, adding, \u201cAnd the next thing you know, I am back in the hospital with a fractured pelvis, the front and the back.
