Kennedy, Jr. appeared alongside former President Trump at a rally in Glendale, Arizona, on Friday, just hours after announcing he was suspending his presidential campaign and endorsing the Republican nominee.\n\n\n\n</p><p>\u201cWe\u2019re both committed to doing what\u2019s best for the country,\u201d Trump said to the crowd gathered at the Desert Diamond Arena, with RFK Jr. standing by his side. He also mentioned that, if elected, he would form an independent presidential commission to investigate assassination attempts, which would include releasing all remaining documents related to the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, RFK Jr.\u2019s uncle, who was killed in 1963.\n\n\n\n</p><p>\u201cHe\u2019s an incredible individual, a great man who truly cares about the American people,\u201d Trump said of RFK Jr.<br>\n\n\n\n</p><p>RFK Jr., formerly a long-shot candidate, revealed that he had met with Trump several times since last month. He said they focused on shared values and issues rather than their differences. One topic they discussed was ensuring safe food and addressing the chronic disease epidemic.\n\n\n\n</p><p>RFK Jr. voiced his support for Trump, asking the crowd, \u201cDon\u2019t you want a president who will protect our freedoms, ensure a safe environment for our children, and make America healthy again?\u201d\n\n\n\n</p><p>Trump acknowledged RFK Jr.\u2019s strong polling but pointed out the challenges of the two-party system. He then invited RFK Jr.\u2019s supporters to join his campaign, saying, \u201cLet\u2019s build a coalition for liberty, safety, prosperity, and peace.
