I\u2019ve decided that our 41st season, which begins in September, will be my last,\u201d he said at the time. \u201cIt\u2019s been a wonderful ride, and I\u2019ll have more to say in the coming months. Many thanks to you all.\u201d\n\n\n\n</p><p>Shortly after Sajak announced his retirement, Ryan Seacrest was named the new host of&nbsp;<em>Wheel of Fortune&nbsp;with Vanna White continuing her post on the game show.<br>\u201cI am truly humbled to be stepping into the footsteps of the legendary Pat Sajak.
