Through franchises like&nbsp;<em>Rocky&nbsp;and&nbsp;<em>Rambo, Sly became a household name, but it would appear that his gruff, often intimidating persona isn\u2019t only reserved for his on-screen characters.\n\n\n\n<p>Audiences will get a candid look into Stallone\u2019s home life with the release of his new reality show&nbsp;<em>The Family Stallone, and it\u2019s safe to say the 76-year-old\u2019s private ongoings are sparking real interest.\n\n\n\n<p>Not least where his methods of parenting relating to his three beloved daughters, Sophia, 26, Sistine, 24, and Scarlet, 20, are concerned. The girls have already gone on record to reveal how it\u2019s impossible for them to date anyone while under the watchful gaze of their father, going as far as to claim that he quite literally scares potential suitors off.\n\n\n\n</p><p>Now, protective dads looking out for their daughters\u2019 best interests is nothing new. Hell, the trope has been a staple of Hollywood films for as long Hollywood has been Hollywood.\n\n\n\n</p><p>Even so, Stallone appears to have no qualms with taking what can only be considered an old school approach to the prospect of his daughters finding new men to live their lives with.\n\n\n\n<figure class='\"wp-block-image\"'><img decoding='\"async\"' src="%5C%22https:%5C/%5C/cdn-main.newsner.com%5C/wp-content%5C/uploads%5C/sites%5C/11%5C/2023%5C/05%5C/19083753%5C/GettyImages-1332078934-scaled.jpg%5C%22" alt='\"\"' class='\"wp-image-127424\"\/'>\n\n\n\n<p>Indeed, one scene from the upcoming&nbsp;<em>The Family Stallone,&nbsp;set to drop May 17, has generated a particular amount of buzz, with&nbsp;<em>The Expendables&nbsp;star proving beyond all doubt that he will guard the\u2026 ahem\u2026 innocence of his daughters strictly.\n\n\n\n<p>The clip in question sees Stallone on the verge of a meltdown after one of his daughters jokingly tries to convince him that she\u2019s fallen pregnant.\n\n\n\n</p><p>For the legendary actor\u2019s birthday, daughter Sistine, 24, and her mother baked Sly a birthday cake. They then wrote \u201cI\u2019m Pregnant\u201d on top of the cake to try and bait a reaction.\n\n\n\n</p><p>And react Stallone certainly did. In the clip, the&nbsp;<em>Rocky Balboa&nbsp;star apparently doesn\u2019t take long at all to lose his cool.\n\n\n\n<figure class='\"wp-block-image\"'><img decoding='\"async\"' src="%5C%22https:%5C/%5C/cdn-main.newsner.com%5C/wp-content%5C/uploads%5C/sites%5C/11%5C/2023%5C/05%5C/19083754%5C/GettyImages-631291644-scaled.jpg%5C%22" alt='\"\"' class='\"wp-image-127425\"\/'>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cPlease turn these cameras off so I can destroy this place,\u201d he says.\n\n\n\n</p><p>\u201cI\u2019m going full&nbsp;Rambo.\u201d\n\n\n\n</p><p>The 76-year-old later calmed down when he realized the whole thing was a ruse, but it\u2019s safe to assume he didn\u2019t see the funny side of the prank.\n\n\n\n</p><p>In the same episode, Sistine went on to discuss in detail the difficulties surrounding her and her sisters\u2019 dating experiences.\n\n\n\n</p><p>\u201cDating when you have the dad that we do is rough,\u201d the 24-year-old said.\n\n\n\n</p><p>\u201cThe first time a boy came over to meet my parents, he\u2019s going in for the first kiss. I was so nervous and excited.\n\n\n\n</p><p>\u201cHe looked up at the balcony and said, \u2018Oh my God, what is that?\u2019 It was my dad, standing on the balcony, backlit so you just see a silhouette.\n\n\n\n</p><p>\u201cHe\u2019s so cinematic. This kid jumped in the car and I never saw him again.\u201d\n\n\n\n</p><p>As for Stallone\u2019s decision to let cameras in to his home to film and scrutinize his family life, the actor said he had a good reason.\n\n\n\n</p><p>\u201cI\u2019m on the road so much and I looked around and thought, my daughters are grown up,\u201d he explained.\n\n\n\n</p><p>\u201cWouldn\u2019t it be great to spend some serious time with them where they couldn\u2019t escape, where they had to be with me.\u201d\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"</p><div class='\"mh-excerpt\"'><p>&nbsp;Sylvester Stallone has spent much of his career carefully crafting his no-nonsense, tough-guy image.
