An outstanding rendition of the national anthem was recently given by Master Gunnery Sergeant Peter Wilson, a 29-year active member of \u201cThe President\u2019s Own\u201d United States Marine Band. Wilson blew everyone away with his violin performance; he graduated from Morgantown High in 1986.

The performance, which took place at a public occasion, was greeted with resounding cheers and genuine gratitude. The sight of a Marine playing the national anthem on violin is even more remarkable than the rarity of the event itself. Wilson\u2019s mastery and commitment shone through in every measure, showcasing the diverse range of skills that Marine Band members offer to their duty.
