Despite their 33-year age gap, they quickly formed a strong connection. Gere\u2019s romantic gestures, including sending flowers and writing songs, won Silva over. They married in a Buddhist ceremony in April 2018 at Gere\u2019s ranch in New York. The couple has two sons, born in 2019 and 2020.
