n arrest by ICE in Chicago’s North Side has sparked outrage after agents tackled an elderly woman during the detention of Laugh Factory manager Nate Griffin.
Witnesses say Griffin was standing up for his employees when ICE agents approached and forcibly detained him.
Video from the scene shows Griffin asking nearby Chicago Police officers, “Why are you letting this happen?” as they stood by.
A masked agent reportedly claimed Griffin had struck a car door, describing it as “assault on an officer.”
Both Griffin and his mother were taken into custody before being released.
