DHS Agent Says He Was Kicked During Chaotic Clash Outside DTLA Detention Center

A chaotic scene erupted outside the DTLA detention center when protesters clashed with DHS agents during a tense standoff. According to officials, officers were attempting to secure the entrance as the crowd pushed forward, shouting and trying to interfere with the ongoing operations.

In the middle of the confrontation, one DHS agent reported that he was kicked in the groin by someone in the crowd while trying to hold a defensive line. The sudden assault added fuel to the tension already brewing between demonstrators and federal personnel.

Footage from the scene shows officers stepping forward to regain control as several individuals pressed against barriers and ignored commands to move back. The incident briefly halted the officers’ efforts as more units stepped in to stabilize the area.

Agents eventually pushed the crowd back and restored control to the perimeter, but the moment has sparked a wave of debate online. Many viewers say the assault shows how quickly these situations can escalate when people ignore lawful orders.

Authorities are reviewing additional video to identify the person responsible for the kick and any others involved in physical altercations during the unrest.
