Dave Coulier Reveals New Cancer Diagnosis 7 Months After Beating Lymphoma

Dave Coulier’s latest diagnosis arrived like a cruel sequel: early stage HPV-related oropharyngeal tongue cancer, discovered only because he followed up after surviving stage III non-Hodgkin lymphoma. The pain in his tongue was relentless, but doctors reassured him this was a separate, highly treatable cancer with strong odds in his favor. That hope powers him through 35 rounds of radiation, five days a week, as nausea, “radiation brain” and facial pain chip away at his strength.

What holds him together is the love around him — his wife Melissa carrying the daily burden by his side, and his Full House family flooding his phone with support and promises to show up whenever he calls. Coulier admits the fight is emotionally exhausting, yet he stays “cautiously optimistic,” believing the first cancer may have saved his life by revealing the second just in time.
